SO Much Temptation

Submitted by Ralph G.

All the work and toil
And sweat of my brow
Are nothing compared to
What’s before me now!
Plump peas, sweet berries,
And the corn so tall,
All bordered in fragrant flowers,
Some large and some small.
There are melons and squash
And radishes and chives,
So many growing wonders
I barely believe my eyes!
No, after all my work
To get under the fence,
I can’t keep my mouth
In further suspense.
So much to taste!
So much to see!
So much temptation
For a bunny like me!

Gardeners' Quotes

"Just the other day, I read that a Japanese gentleman paid $90,000 for an enormously large form of a non-endangered stag beetle. If this keeps up, insects might become more profitable to grow than gooseberries," Eric Gressell, Insects and Gardens
